At Nautilus 220, the Housekeeping team ensures all common areas consistently reflect the cleanliness and presentation standards of a luxury residential property.


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and overall presentation of Nautilus 220’s common areas, amenities, resident-facing spaces, and operational areas. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the property consistently reflects the elevated standards of a luxury hospitality-driven residential community.


The Housekeeping Attendant is expected to perform daily cleaning responsibilities with precision, efficiency, professionalism, and strong attention to detail while helping create a welcoming and polished environment for residents and guests. This position requires reliability, organization, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative operational team.


The ideal candidate is proactive, service-minded, detail-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the property.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Common Area Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation of all common areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, lounges, fitness areas, amenity spaces, offices, and resident-facing environments throughout the property.
  • Luxury Presentation Standards: Ensure all resident-facing spaces consistently reflect Nautilus 220’s luxury hospitality standards through detailed cleaning, organization, polishing, dusting, and visual upkeep of all assigned areas.
  • Amenity Area Upkeep: Clean and maintain pool areas, wellness spaces, rooftop amenities, lounges, and other recreational spaces while ensuring all furniture, fixtures, and surfaces remain clean, organized, and guest-ready.
  • Trash Removal & Restocking: Empty trash receptacles, remove debris, replace liners, and restock restroom and amenity supplies including towels, toiletries, paper products, and operational materials as needed.
  • Floor & Surface Care: Perform sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, dusting, glass cleaning, and surface sanitation throughout the property while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
  • Resident Service Support: Interact professionally and courteously with residents, guests, vendors, and team members while responding to housekeeping-related requests and supporting the overall resident experience.
  • Inspection & Reporting: Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify cleanliness concerns, maintenance issues, damaged items, safety hazards, or operational deficiencies requiring follow-up or escalation.
  • Equipment & Supply Management: Safely operate housekeeping equipment and maintain organized storage areas, cleaning carts, supplies, and operational materials while monitoring inventory levels and reporting replenishment needs.
  • Operational Coordination: Partner closely with concierge, maintenance, operations, valet, and management teams to support property readiness, resident events, special projects, and daily operational excellence.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow all cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, chemical handling protocols, PPE requirements, and safety guidelines while maintaining clean and safe working environments.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 1+ years of housekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, hotel housekeeping, or luxury residential cleaning experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation standards
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in fast-paced operational environments
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in resident-facing luxury environments
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and housekeeping equipment preferred
  • Positive attitude and willingness to support operational needs across departments
  • Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays as operationally required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred given the resident community and operational environment


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout the property for extended periods during the shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds including cleaning supplies, linens, trash, equipment, and operational materials
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions while safely operating housekeeping equipment and handling cleaning chemicals
